Time Of Making Comparisons & Judgments

As the world is heading towards yet another nerve-wreaking world cup (2019), & most things in the world are moving towards their conclusion, it is likely that the cricket also may be commemorated after the 2019 edition & the great glory & fun of the game will continue to enchant the spectators in the aftertaste of its entertainment. The game has passed yet another test of its largeness in this decade by surviving the expectations of the current fans & matching the highness of the past greats with some great players shaking the world with their cracking performances & some teams continuing to perform to their level of the past & maintaining the intensity & competitiveness of the game. It was expected after the retirement of the great players of the great Australian team of Ricky Ponting that cricket in Australia will decline & so will the quality of competition in other teams as such teams are not born every day. Australia had lived a success larger than extraordinary & so it was natural that at least a minor downfall should come in its level, but didn't only Australia maintain that standard, many other teams like New Zealand, England, South Africa & India also stepped up to the challenge & matched steps. In this process, these teams have produced some mesmerising performances in this period with cut-classes like AB De Villiers & Virat Kohli skying like suns. The England tournament in such situation seems like perfectly set as a blockbuster show & some big T20 tournaments in between may serve the appetiser. The T20 format has not only lived up to its expectation, but also improved the ODI form along with it. The ultimate winner is the spectator who fuels this game with his appreciation & love.
We hope, all teams will meet sufficiently with the challenge of the climax trophy & produce a World Cup never imagined before & after that we fans will enjoy the thrill of ranking players & teams.
